An online shop specialized in vintage touring?
Thats second only to a men's roller derby store in terms of niche appeal. You are taking a niche interest- vintage bicycles, and norrowing it further with a really niche activity of touring.
The group that is interested though will be really passionate.
I for one will geek on whatever you toss up online.

Is the idea that you would acquire the stuff and flip it via a dedicated portal or that the site would be a marketplace for others to sell stuff and you'd charge a fee on transactions or membership (or provide the service for free) or some other business model?

Isn’t Velo Orange and Rivendale all about vintage touring style?
I think most people looking for vintage gear already hunt on eBay and craigslist for deal.

Nice, though arguably a PX-10 is a racing bike, not a touring bike (not that I care about such distinctions...I both raced and did fully loaded touring for 1000s of miles on my 1972 Raleigh International). BITD we didn't really make such distinctions...we toured on whatever we had available.

I rode Bikecentennial self-contained in 1976 on my 1971 Raleigh Professional Mk III. Racing bikes of that era made great touring bikes!

My brother, Jerry, toured on his 79 Raleigh Professional. When the will is there, the way appears.
Must mentioned that I just built up a new frame with vintage bits from my back stock. Most vintage enthusiast have lots of back stock, are cheap, and very particular.

Back when we lived in Redwood City, CA, we'd often take La Honda Road in the summer to get to the central coast beaches, and would often pass this barn. I've always had a thing for red barns. This was the first time I'd ridden down La Honda, I was looking for it, and got this shot.

Super cool- I know this spot! In college my parents decided to move from the chicago burbs to CA, so each time I visited 'home', I spent the entire time exploring central CA during the early '00s.
