So, do you want to quit riding, or do you just need a break?

Probably need a break, but I ride so little anyway, it's hard to take a break from something I hardly do in the first place.

But you ignored the bigger question about bar oil ! (nevermind, I found some)

However, is there a short-term substitute for 2-stroke oil to mix with the gas ? (nevermind, found some of that too)

todays my bday!

im going w alot of co-workers/friends and their gfs to Minus the Bear at House of Blues in SD!!!!! Can't wait!

The goal is to NOT be too drunk by the time the show starts.... it will take some vigilance and aversion on my part haha.

I got tons of sleep last night, and i'm about to go on a 2 hr ride a a mellow z1/2. Those things combined with lots of food and water should help me survive.

Since your not going to need it for your bike, just use chain lube. It'll be fine.

was going to do a timed fun-ride/race that I've done several times before. Have started doing some base training so that I can haul my unfit self around the course. Doing the budget and found the number of bills (insurance, property taxes, utilities) means I'm not going to be able to afford the entry fee. oh well. the increased riding has to be good for me.

You can use no detergent 30wt but it's going to smoke a lot and will carbon up the engine and exhaust quicker than good two stroke oil. And these days it's not any more common than two stroke oil.

I use synthetic two stroke oil in my saws and other two stroke implements (and in my off road motorcycles back when I still rode them). I like Redline Allsport because it's a low deposit oil and because it makes the exhaust smell good.

Mmmm huffing fumes. All the cool kids are doing it.

First they sniff glue, then paint, and then it leads to exhaust sniffing. Slippery slope and all.
I knew glue was the gateway sniff.

Happy birthday.

These guys sound awesome. Reminds me of mars volta for some reason. Not a bad thing, that.
