Almost a month, and they are just now asking for folks who drove that stretch of road that night?

The report didn't indicate that anyone had reported him as missing.

Without that as a start, the police are not going to know the start to look.

Hopefully Scotland Yard is on the case. Sorry, bad joke. Couldn’t resist.

Not funny, even if it made sense.

Not particularly funny, especially if you were his family.

The latest update:

Appeal to end missing cyclist Tony Parsons mystery

I don't think he could be classified as a touring cyclist as such. Tony Parsons is a grandfather who had been treated for cancer in the past and was undertaking the 104-mile (167km) day ride for a charity. He left his home in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire on the morning of 29 September 2017 and had travelled with his bike on the train to Fort William.

He did not leave Fort William until the rather late at 16.10 hours. He ha left his home on the morning of that day. He passed through Glencoe village at about 18:00. A distance of about 15 miles on flattish roads, this would indicate an average speed of 8mph.

He would then have to have climbed up Glencoe on to the flat expanse of Rannoch Moor, then down into the Bridge of Orchy. I have cycled this route in the other direction, so I know it. I think it is much easier heading north, rather than in the southerly diection Tony was travelling.

He was last seen passing through the Bridge of Orchy at 23.30. This is a fruther 25 miles from Glencoe village. Even with the climb up Glencoe, it took him nearly 7.5 hours to do just 25 miles. That is only 3mph.

He still had to cycle another 60 miles to get home, and with it being Late September, it had already been dark for several hours.

It is still a complete mystery, as to why he has not yet been found.
