More of a camping trip

Hi everyone. I just got back from a 2 week trip to the Okanagan valley in B.C.. I used to live in the area and was able to visit lots of family.

I started out with a rideshare from Vancouver to Midway. Spent the night in Midway, rode over most of Anarchist summit down into the valley. Always a great vista.

Camped out on the Osoyoos Indian Reserve between Osoyoos and Oliver. Very nice warm weather. Rained twice in the evenings, stopped by morning. I was able to try out my Hennesy hammock, expedition model. What a treat. I would give up my tent for this thing. Here are some pics....

It is necessary to use a barrier of some sort between you and the hammock, or mosquitoes can bite you through it. The first snake pic is a baby rattler, the second pic is a bull snake. There is a rock covered in petroglyphs, not sure of the translation.

Yes it is a big dummy. The hammock is the cats ass. I was quite surprised at how comfy it was. I figured it would take some getting used to. Nope. Comfortable from the start.
