Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I appear to be wearing an MS 150 windbreaker under my HH shell. I used to raise a lot of money for the event so I was always getting free stuff. One year I was the 22nd highest fundraiser out of over 7,000 people. Total with employer match was over $8,000.

i was freezing this morning, and it wasn’t even as cold as I thought it would be.

Was hoping to ride tomorrow morning, but it looks like it is going to rain.

In the final fury they got up to 49.5mph. And now many are running in the 5:30s.

Wow, the Jets are exceptional at finding ways to lose.

Also, I was sure that the Vikings were trying to lose, but the somehow failed in their efforts.

I did my first real world ride since Black Friday, since there's been so much other kerfuffle going on. Aaaaaahhhhh....... Just what the doctor ordered!

Thinking there may be a ton of people at the North end of Canada Road, I prepared myself a desperado-style face covering (bandana), but there weren't many people there at all. Might have been the temps being in the low 50s, even though it was beautifully sunny.

It doesn't say it is Finnish. I don't have a Nintendo and don't play video games.

I went for a ride, now don't feel like going over to the cantina to see if the patio is empty enough for me to watch football.

Luckily I recently purchased a bag of raw Spanish peanuts and a 6-pack of Two Hearted. So life is good, even though I've been reduced to watching football like this:
