Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Some people are so lacking in empathy that they must experience things themselves to understand them at all.

Pizza Hut with the table-top Asteroids, playing all the Eagles tunes on the jukebox.

Up in New Jersey there was a pizza joint with Star Castle. Loved that game, but it never got that big:

The 7-11 up the road had Galaga and Defender, and I spent way too much time on that Galaga machine.

Good day today, sold my snap trainer to a guy @ work for what I paid for it. Then on the way home I got a offer for my last kinetic trainer for full asking price.
zwift group was awesome! My climbing still sucks but 243 watt average for the hour finished the full hour administered some punishment on the flats and some of the shorter climbs. Legs are coming around.

On the subject of being out of shape.... My first injury, last year, came in February. It kept me off the bike until a week before lockdown. After lockdown, I had a week or two before the table saw accident. Another four months out the window. Yada yada yada, I rode 31 miles Sunday and 22 more today, after which I struggled mightily to get up off the couch to head to the shower. My legs are quite stiff. I will not be riding tomorrow.

I imagine the sauce takes a long time (why bother?) but none of the other stuff takes hours. Come on.

coach ls01 recommends a light spin for 30 min. On trainer is acceptable, just to get the blood flowing and a little heat in the muscles followed by some light stretching.
