Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

goddammit

i don't need any more fixed gears. I have the continuum which is good for like all my ridng, i have the peloton which is completely unusable but I'm too sentimentally attached to it, and i just bought a goddamned track pro.

Not as bad as me. I saw it, took 10 seconds to open a new window and check my account to make sure I had enough money. I go back, add it to my cart and its OOS in my size too.

All-City Big Block complete bike in 52cm or 55cm for $575.28 shipped thru 5/30 >>> https://www.greentirebikes.com/bk4702.html IDK if this is legit, but I put it in the cart with the 20% off coupon code and it showed in stock at that price. FWIW, I tried buying one at another outlet, and they lied about it being in stock so beware.

IDK anything about them, and based on my recent experience with another online store that lied about availability, you might want to email them first before placing an order. They have a physical address in St. Paul, MN, which is close to All-City, but do not appear on the All-City list of dealers.

so after after adding to the cart the fuji track pro is $150. that seems to be bordering on buy just to throw on ebay territory, but since city-grounds sells it with the fork for $450 it's not quite worth the effort probably

figure a fork to be around a hundred dollars, after ebay fees you might make around 50-100 dollars.

but we all got crazy parts bins right? only thing i dont have spares of is a crankset/bb and an integrated headset

If only I was hardcore, my size is one of the few available I just can't picture myself riding a drop like that

Nashbar actually has a pretty nice sale in general going on. This girl I know is a super cheapskate and wants something pretty, so won't buy a windsor or something off BD and likes the lager, may end up getting it for $200 today which isn't terrible if you're okay with a 30lb tank

edit: oh I also forgot that nashbar has excessive shipping charges *and* charges state tax despite being located in NC (i think). Either way everyone seems to be giving them tax. So consider the price of the Fuji Track pro closer to $180 before you think you're ready to pull the trigger. Great deal if you're going to use it, but reducing your already slim profits even moreso if you planned on relisting

I also couldn't get their coupon to take during their last sale, so I ordered anyway and shot over an e-mail asking the coupon be applied. They shipped my order without applying the coupon and never got back to me. It was only $5-10 off or something but still

i would hardly call $20 for shipping a frame excessive. and the coupon code 20625 excludes bikes and certain brands. i think fuji is one of the restricted brands (the coupon is mostly meant for selling accessories)

I didn't mean $20 for shipping a frame was excessive, I meant nashbar in general.

see post #1304. I hope it's a typo and they meant 54T.
