Essentially.
Zipp has a prebuilt 808 tubular track for $1300 sans tax. Custom laced 808 clincher *starts* at $1200 sans tax on wheelbuilder.
Even with a bike shop insider hook up, it's still half of that at least.
It's only a couple bones at alibaba though.
Tl;dr spead weaponry is not cheap, nor is enve, nor lightweight.

That thing looks ridiculous.
That Merckx is pretty ****ing cool though. And the apehanger bike is sweet too. I have two of those Schwinn frames in my garage, that i think I'm gonna have to leave behind when I roll out to Cali. One has an awesome springer fork. kinda bums me out.
