Back riding a bike in 20 years

Steve from Northern NJ right outside NYC. Haven't rode a bicycle in atleast 20 years. Last bike I had was Dyno Compe and that was back in like 1996. Didn't want to spend big bucks on one especially if I didn't enjoy it, you can always upgrade later on. 6 weeks ago was in Walmart and the Schwinn Boundary just stood out and said buy me!! So I did. First one was a dude as they didn't install the pedals correctly, 500 feet and they stripped the threads. Return that one for another one that was also not working right. Crank was making noises and the rerailer/derailers wouldn't work properly. Went on the Walmart app and found one bike left to try and thank god it was perfect!! Have had a blast since getting it. I've been going out riding with my 6 year old son. Bought lights for both our bikes to go out when its dark and bought a slightly larger Schwinn seat, not a cruiser seat though. Looking forward to getting out and exploring more.

Thanks. It's certainly great being back on a bike after so long and dropping some pounds too. 6'2 315LBS.

Welcome. Great bike to get started. You’ll likely want to upgrade later and you ride more and learn. But planning for the next bike is fun too.
