My Portland trip fell through so I will try to make the Renton ride tomorrow, it will be a shake down for the almost finished Trek 420

Not going to make Saturday unfortunately, due to some silly apartment-related reasons requiring me to stay in for the maintenance guys all day.

Hopefully I can make the Sunday next week -

I am planning on coming down for the Saturday ride on the Cedar River Trail. Hopefully it's dry

Still on the trail, headed back to Sputh Prairie. It's closed 2.75 miles from South Prairie trailhead, and not in a place where a detour is possible.

Had to cut my ride short due to some human bike interface issues ..the VO leather saddle I was using wasn't as broken in as I thought BUT it was fun to meet some more local folks and get out even for a short ride with people on cool vintage bikes. Just reinforces the need to do more riding and less wrenching so I can do more of these kind of rides.

Good to see you all: @Wildwood, @northbend, @Drillium Dude
@SurferRosa and Alan sorry I didn't get your handle.

I am activating Sunday 29 Sept as a replacement ride from Marymoor Park in Redmond for tomorrow's (22Sep) scheduled ride.

Forecast for tomorrow calls for periods of rain early hours and late morning.
I am not canceling tomorrow's ride for likely rain - this is PNW - but I do NOT expect to be leading (or attending) unless the forecast is absolutely wrong.

If you ride tomorrow - a wet road pic, or it didn't happen.

See ya next weekend.

I'm personally gonna follow your lead on this. I have no desire to do a for-fun ride in the wet.

See you next weekend!

Lots o’ good BF ‘er meet and rides out West and mid West Astonishing the number of nice paved trails around Seattle. We need to get some east side fall color rides going.

Very comfortable, @mountaindave !
Gotta admit, I don't think i'd feel safe using it on the road due to it's ninja like color scheme but for trail use or general wear off the bike it's great.
My wife thinks I look good in it too.
That's a 1st for any bike related clothing I own :-)
She usually thinks anything I wear for riding is pretty dorky. :-)

Good to hear! I realized very quickly that this will be one of the very few jerseys I own that I will feel comfortable wearing on or off the bike.

PS - ride with blinky tail light?

Update for coming weekend Sept 28 & 29.

Saturday weather looks iffy. Besides, we did a Saturday ride on 9/21

Sunday looks good, but iffy as of Friday 1AM. Cooler than we are used to = starting mid-40s, finish mid-50s.
Meet at Marymoor Park Velodrome for a 10:30 ride time. Arrive as early as 10:00. For greet & look.

Anyone wanna swap Cinelli bars? I need narrow, trade for these wide 41cm Giros.

PSer's:
Sunday 29th - tomorrow - arrive between 10:00 and 10:29AM
Roll-out = about 10:30.
Redmond, Marymoor Park Velodrome (parking $1)

Route = once around Lake Sammamish - counter clock-wise
[or = any route you choose from start point]

Casual but not slow (but not fast) 30mile circle of the Lake.
No drop, but support yourself roadside.
Supposed to be chilly. Not a naked ride.

Buy your own beers afterward at a place we can choose before departure time @ 10:30.

No C&V requirement - bring any friend who can ride 30mi.

Be there or be square.
Or not.
Just have fun.
Enjoy any Sun.
Ride On!
