Well, I'm out of order, yet again. Pneumonia.

It does look to be mycoplasmic pneumonia again, which is an easily treatable one. I'm in an isolation room, at negative pressure.

Well, to make matters more fun, when I had my allergic reaction to the Levaquin and subsequent crash in my room, they lost my glasses. So....................now I'm Joe Cool, in his sunglasses and hospital gown.'

Tom, after all the hurdles you have overcome in the past few years, this is just a speed bump. You will finish victorious as always. Get rest and get better. You're not missing anything outside, the colorful leaves and crisp temps are rather boring.

See you on the trails soon!

Take care!!!

You need to me more like me...anti-social - I avoid other people at all costs. Benefit of being a hermit - I seldom get sick. Of course I will find out your pneumonia is not contact related; if so, nevermind!!!

Nope, it wasn't bacterial or viral. It was apparently autoimmune related. It's looking more and more like Lupus, and as it turns out, I'm also being assessed for Thyroid cancer.....I have 5 nodules on my thyroid. Biopsy is on the 11th.

Get out of there as fast as you can, Tom, before they start thinking up new tests to run on you just for medical students to learn how to do them. You are having one rough, rough year. Take care.

Hey Tom, sorry to hear about this, but if all else is equal, you will probably ride a century as soon as your wife turns her back.

Hope you get better soon, you know for a guy like me, I'm tempted to say something like someone is trying to get your attention. You know I'm gonna be talking about you behind your back.

I was just reading until now, hoping to see the news that you were ok and going home, but after reading this I'm a bit worried, hope that everything goes fine and that you are going to be in good health in short order! Hang in there, and only let positive thoughts get to you, there's always another day when everything gets better.
