ride with a view

On todays ride I actually brought my camera! As I like seeing others pics I thought it only fair to show the occasional set of my own. So here for your enjoyment.

Decisions, decisions! Which bike to take? The trusty old c-dale as usual. (notice the smile)

Which direction to go-west being the correct answer.

A momentary stop to smell the flowers as it were-chicory one of my favorites.

A view back at the local park.

The headstone of Robert Bailey the only revolutionary war vet buried in green cty and one of only a few in wi.

Finally the rewards of a righteous ride! Ice for the knee, ibuprofen for the back and a chocolate, banana smoothie for the soul.

What causes that strange green fuzz on the hills this time of year?

It is called rain. It makes things grow green, unlike the desert of SoCal... Bleech!

OK this is odd. I checked back in to see about responses on my way to somewhere else and on this computer 4 of the pics have reoriented themselves. When originally posted they were all correct. Man, I hope the last one doesn't reorient as I would hate to ruin anyones keyboard!

Yes true, but there's nothing like the smell of the high desert after a monsoon rain.

What - no picture of you?

Even after all these years, I am not quite sure . . .

But, nice pics anyway and thanks for posting.

You need to visit the C&V. The Good Ride Today (New and Improved) thread has pics like this all the time! Also the Every Day Pics thread.

(Nice pics!) Go for another ride and take your camera again!

Not enough pictures coming from you--as this batch has proved.

Sounds like a good ride.
