Allez and Roubaix frame size
Hello,
Could anyone tell if the Allez and Roubaix 2016 frame sizes are similar ? I mean, would a 54 cm Allez be similar to a 54 cm Roubaix for the same person, or their geometries prompt for different sizes ?
Thanks in advance.

I was going to say they were the same, but a 54 Allez top tube is 538mm -- a 54 Roubaix is 547mm -- A 52 Roubaix is 536mm.
It's very possible that someone who rides a 54 Allez would feel more comfortable on a 52 Roubaix.
Although to be completely honest, I don't know how to drill down enough to really know the differences. In short, it looks like the Roubaix IS a bit more stretched out than the Allez. Can you ride them both for a couple miles to feel?

I just clicked on a few to double check numbers, and apparently it depends on the model of Allez. Some 54's are showing 538 and some are showing 549 top tubes. So definitely look up the exact one you are interested in to be sure.

"Size" is the BB axis to the top of the seat tube nothing More. C-T
Center to Center = centerline of top tube, 1/2 diameter .

I work in a Specialized LBS. Generally, the dimensions on the Allez and the Roubaix are pretty close with the exception of the head tube. The head tubes on the Roubaix are considerably taller than on the Allez for a given size. I ride a 58cm Allez, and the head tube on a 58cm Roubaix is 20mm taller.
