Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, I used to think of myself as having short legs, but now I realize I'm just short. The fit of the R3 was a revelation after years on a road bike that was too long for me.

That is likely the Atlas my ex used to see. Great guy. When I had what turned out to be a cracked tooth and infection she called his emergency number early one morning. Dude called back personally within 10 minutes. He made a call and got me an appointment with someone in town that morning. That guy took an X-ray, told me the tooth was toast and got me in to see someone at Jeff right away. The tooth was out the next day after my INR dropped enough. Got percs and antibiotics in the mean time. Amazingly fast delivery of health care.

Just expect to pay up front and deal with your insurance yourself.

I have to put in a Safety Glasses order. I bought two pairs of Tifosi when Performance had them so cheap. Not worth the extra money when I seem to scratch them so easily. Scratches irritate me.

Thoughts?
I was happy to find out liquor shops were considered “essential” in MD as well.

I used to buy these from Amazon, but they seem not to be available through them anymore. The lens color is light enough that I can still comfortably wear at near down hours and “just” about enough for bright midday rides. But I have to admit, I was never comfortable with very dark sunglasses.

what I’d really like is a pair of Rudy project photochromic glasses, but the #cheapskate in me doesn’t allow it.

I would add that the next hot spots are likely to be Florida (probably due to Spring Break) and Lousiana (probably due to Mardi Gras).

My dad paid about $700 for the one we had in 1980. Nobody cared about 10 year old British cars back then.

We still haven't tried the Kirkland scotch, but the Oban is really pretty good for a single malt. 4 Roses on the shelf for hard times.

I really like the Oban. Just got an emergency stock bottle in case even the liquor shops are closed.

When you buy three pairs of cycling glasses for $10 during the zombie apocalypse, you're stimulating the economy and getting ahead at the same time.

It’s bad, the Governor is pleading for supplies and with people to cooperate and stay home. Kind of reminds me of when the mayor of New Orleans was pleading for help as Katrina struck, this could be even more tragic.
