1997 Jamis Quest Tange CroMo frame. Stripped and powder coated, Rebuilt with parts I had (wheel set, saddle, handlebar) new (cassette, chain) and used parts from eBay (10 sp. 105 5700 groupset). Only original parts from the Jamis were the seat post clamp bolt and cable guide under the bottom bracket. Did the rebuild mostly for fun and to get a N+1 dedicated for my trainer and occasionally on the road.

This is hands down my favorite thread on this entire forum. Now that it has been almost a year since anyone last posted, does anyone out there have any more to contribute? Let’s get this thread going again.

Well, I can add these:
This was one of Bob Fourney's (3 time RAAM winner) bikes that I picked up several months ago. Supposedly made by Wayne Evans in Denver from Columbus EL-OS. Has a fair amount of cosmetic wear but has felt nice on a few test rides. Trying to get matching touch up paint for it and then going to decide how to fully build it up.
Another recent score was the NOS piece of Paletti art. This too happens to be EL-OS.
Built up with a very nice silver Chorus 9 speed groupset.
Finally, is this cheap local find. Turns out it's an Eddy Martens (Belgium Martelly) built bike with a super cool paint job. Eddy confirmed making it but neither he or Ribbles could account for the paint job and decals.
As i have it now with a nice set of tubular Reynolds wheels.

ASAB (all steelies are beautiful)
Picked this up for a song at a large chain-ish shop's used section, which seemed to vacillate between bizarrely overpriced and bizarrely underpriced.
Came with a criterium racing setup of track bars and a 13-18 straight block freewheel, replaced with Giro bars and a 13-24 to make it slightly more sane on hills.
Last step is to replace the Columbus decal (for some bizarre reason De Rosa apparently liked to slap those outside the clear coat, meaning they'd come off real easy)

My daily rider...
4130 frame, 5800 equipped, weighs 22 lbs as shown. Nimble and adequate for knocking around, and commuting some times.

I always like to play in these threads.
my only bike and daily ride. Built for me in January 2018. Mix of Columbus and prestige tubing. Enve carbon seat tube, seat post topper, and forks.
Rides beautifully. Weight was 16 lbs 4 oz with pedals and cages.
waiting for the door bell to ring with UPS bringing home one of my first real project bikes bought in the early ‘90’s and built with parts I could afford. Left with a friend about 15 years ago due to lack of use and now she’s sent it back to me. Will post pics later. Holy crap bell just rang yay!

2012 Bianchi Campione all steel fsa crank with Claris derailleurs to be replaced someday. Possibly the last bike made with dts .
99 bianchi Veloce I picked up about a year ago from a massive collection had about 50 miles on it and probably paid way to much for it . Nicest ride I’ve ever had except for the fact that I cracked the non drive crank arm on my first century on it .

I built this frame and fork 5 years ago. So for its 5th anniversary I had it painted in white pearl and.upgraded it to 11-speed.

Late 1970's Macario (from Madrid) I've been riding for about 5 months. Has quite a springy ride that lot's of fun. Macario made bikes for several of Spain's Olympic teams and his bikes won Grand Tour stages.

Mie aren't as jaw dropping as some, but they're mine. And all of them were built from the frame up with my own hands...

Updated pic of a bike that was posted earlier. Fit is now set with the stem flipped down. Frame built in a class a few years ago. 11sp Ultegra drivetrain down low and Ritchey components up high.
'88 Schwinn Premis frame that my kids and I worked on this past spring as a 'school' project. One learned how to braze on cable guides, the it was powdercoated and we built it up with 105 11sp components.
Fairlight Secan gravel frame with 11sp drivetrain.
