She was pretty far gone when that arm whacked her but good and it didn't phase her.
Actually, Phase Her was set on Stun.

I can't think of a single reason to pass through that barrier... and wonder... what the hell were they thinking.

You have posted a very popular story that had three other posts combined by cb400bill, SBW.
It seems to be hitting in waves. Even I had a thread on it.
Woman was possibly drunk *CBS News link and with the way the arm whacked the bike I'm sure the July 4th reveler was feeling no pain.
Lucky person. I knew a guy who bought a '65 Mustang and tore it in half across farm equipment at speed a few days later. If he had used the seat belt there was no way he could have laid down across the seat and that saved his life. It didn't stop his drinking and he lost his partnership in a local law firm a few years later and even his alcoholic friends and now recovering girlfriend couldn't stand it any more and that was the last I heard of it.
People think they won't get a DWI on a bike, it's not a car, they are wrong. This person isn't DEAD wrong.

Always cross gaps as close to 90 degrees as possible.
If you approach a gap at an acute angle, your wheel may drop into the gap and you might crash.
As far as gate crashing, leave that to the "experts."

Wow would be it, as even IF you got past the nearly two foot gap your velocity to complete the jump over the gap at the top is more than a frunk person could accomplish without assistance from Robbie Knievel.

I thought this thread had promise, figuring it was about someone trying to jump an open draw bridge on a bike Dukes Of Hazzard style...
I was disappointed.

They had several General Lees, same as the six or so identical Trams Ams in Smokey And The Bandit. Don't jump that missing bridge at home.
