That fold is terrible. Surely the point of a folding bike is to be able to take it easily anywhere, which, to be fair, is a criteria few meet, and this one definitely does not. You might as well not bother and take a normal touring bike.

Its like a Bike Friday where you have to take off everything and stuff it in a suitcase . The good thing is that it has no mid hinge. Weight wise, I see pics of 10 kg.

Above link is probably old. The new Anemos Yacht is a bit different I think.

Which is why I wouldn't bother with a Bike Friday, either. Since you have to do pretty much the same with a touring or road bike, which are much better to cycle plus can take bigger loads, for me that renders a folding bike pointless.

You say that coz you have the Brompton. Yes the Anemos folds big, has no itty bitty wheel to push it around folded. No luggage block, no fenders. It will probably unhinge and come apart if you try to carry it. Doesn't have a rack, pump etc etc. But its still a pretty bike. Heh!!

Hard as it may be to believe, people have different requirements for the fold of a folding bicycle. I have a Swift, which some would say has a terrible fold, but it's a quick and easy fold which allows me to quickly and easily put my bike in the back of my car, and so meets my requirements. This bike strikes me as a cross between a Bike Friday and a Swift and if it has a ride which compares to those two, it would be a winner in my eyes. Now, if I wanted to carry it on a train or bus, that would be a different matter.

It's got a removable handlepost, the same as a Xootr Swift. The fold looks fine to me.

Of course, it's personal opinion plus requirements, and the reason I chose the Brompton and later the copy was because they folded easily and could fit into crowded railway carriages, restaurants, hotel rooms, Eurostar etc. However, some of the folds I saw when searching led me to wonder what the advantages were. I mean, I can get my touring bike into just about any car if I take the wheels off, and I don't even need to that if I fit he bike rack. It has travelled on planes, packed neatly with wheels either side of the frame, trains in the UK, back of a ute in Indonesia, and, of course, it is a much better ride than most folding bikes, which is why I'm not convinced by large folding bikes which you have to dismantle to get them down to an acceptable size.
Mind you, a touring bike packed into a bag isn't the easiest thing to carry, and it does mean you have to travel light, which is where a small folder comes into its own.

Apples vs. Oranges
There's the bikes that are separable, and then there's the bikes that are foldable.
Many people don't need to put up with Bromoton's disadvantages because 1. they do not commute multi-modally, that is, they do not need to fold and unfold the bike at least twice a day, and schlep it on public transport, 2. when flying, they do not face stiff charges and red-tape on check-in luggage, and 3. they do not live/tour in high theft areas that require bringing in the bike. To many who do not face these restrictions, a Brompton is an unnecessary extravagance that comes with distinct disadvantages of its own. Ergo, the blanket recommendation, the mantra of Brompton is often tone deaf.

I'm not a brompton hater, but I'd like to know why every thread becomes a "brompton is better than everything" thread. Really,...

And yet, equally it surprises me few tout the advantages of their folder on any thread. Is there a reason for that?

Why should we? When asked about specific folders, we respond. Constantly harping about what you think is "best" is rediculous. Wait for questions,...

Who is harping? Can you explain what the point of a folding bike is if it isn't portability? And, by the way, what I think is best, if you bothered to read, isn't folding bikes. They are a compromise, althought it is true some are better than others. That's just my opinion, an singularly unimportant person in the world of bikes which you can, and most do, ignore. That doesn't mean I shouldn't express an opinion, though, just as you have an equal right to express yours.

Well...portability is one consideration...
...but there are others like 1. weight 2. ride comfort from wheel size and tire variety, 3. Cost/value, 4. Proprietary/non-proprietary parts, 5. Build quality, etc.I am sure I am missing others. The mistake is to proclaim bike X as the best. The only sure thing that can be said with certainty and without debate is that Brompton has the smallest and fold. Beyond that, one is speaking beyond oneself, and betraying a tunnel vision.

It's also just a bike. Mine's for sale, because I no longer commute, and I have the Neo in my secondary country of residence.

I have seen this bike locally.
It does seem well built in the vein of a BF Pocket Rocket.
In fact, I have seen facebook postings of it being able to go down to 7.5kg fully built up.
Problem locally is the price shops try to sell it at, which is often the price of a 2nd hand BFPR and the latter will be easier to sell off if one is not satisfied with it.
That said, its basically in the likeness of a BFPR for much cheaper.

I believe USD 133 will be just down payment.

Frame Group "Ding Gold" = USD 133.39
The chinahao add is for the frame set only. No wheels, groupset, nothing.
So "Ding Gold" (forgot to add that word in my previous post) means downpayment? What the hell does massage division mean? Looks like I need a tanslator for the translated english as well.
