I'm searching for a single Huret top tube brake cable clamp in decent shape. A recently purchased bike only came with two.

Also hoping to find a decent complete set of Miyata plastic internal cable "grommets" for the top tube.

I don't have much to trade at the moment, but can offer hard currency.

I have these packed and ready for a swap meet. I tested the one without the bolt on a ~26.0mm top tube and it fit. They need an evaoporust/coke/lemon juice bath to clean up some rust. If you're interested, send me a PM.

Needing a few items in order to get the Benotto project underway. Unfortunately, I don’t have any stash for working out trades, but I do have a little C&V spending money.

ISO:

• Campy seat post binder or good substitute for an early 80’s frame. Must be splined rather than Sugino key style. Needs to fit 8 mm hole, and have a minimum distance of 18 mm.

• Campy style step down cable ferrule for rear derailleur cable stop.

• Ofmega or Avocet Italian bottom bracket with 118 mm spindle for use with early 80’s Ofmega double crankset.

• Campy dropout adjuster screws 28 mm length head to head.

• Era appropriate (late 70’s to mid/late 80’s) braze on downtube shifters to fit Campy bosses.

Thanks for looking folks, and I look forward to hearing what you might have to help shorten this list.

Matt

If MH’s doesn’t work, I believe I have a bronze green fork from a 23.5” SuperCourse in the basement. I’ll measure the steerer. Yours for the cost of shipping from 02446.

Wtt my 125 GB stem for 90-110 GB stem. Fair condition.

Has more scratches and scuffs than I thought, though easily mitigated. l'm looking for a shorter length stem, it can also be one generation earlier (unrecessed hex bolt type).

Ignore the bar tape and the mint green Weinnman hood.

I have a set of GB engraved bars to go on this, but am holding off to see if someone has a shorter stem.

Is this the binder bolt you're looking for? Mint, Almost NOS
And the levers, - Good shape, chrome on the bolts, meh. I have mint and NOS Campy shift levers if you prefer, with various generations of hardware.

Yep. Thats the bolt I’m looking for!

Gotta love the Record Levers. Found a pair of Suntour at the co-op yesterday however. So I’m no longer in need of shifters.

Very interested in that bolt though.

ISO sparkly blue trek fork. 57.5-58cm frame. 50-55mm rake.

Long shot of course. I'm looking for a fork with more rake to match a sparkly blue 57.5cm Trek 400 Elance. I think the fork from a Trek 300 Elance would be perfect.
Here's a stolen not my bike picture of the sparkly blue:

If you find the right color but incorrect rake, send it to Gugie - he does good work.

So I went to my co-op tonight to find a seal for a Shmano headset to no avail. But there is a 22" Raleigh competition hanging there. White with blue head tube, Nervar or TA crank, and what appears to my feeble old eyes a Zeus derailleur set, Weinmann brake set. No wheels. I'm suspecting this one for the Raleigh lovers here. So I will offer it up to a good home. Again cost of shipping. Maybe $50 with shipbikes. Lemme know, MH

ISO orphan Stronglight and Campagnolo drive-side crankarms

I need a Campagnolo Record or Nuovo Record drive-side crankarm. I also need a Stronglight 93 drive-side crankarm. (Actually, I need two drive-side Stronglight arms, but I don't expect to find them both at once.) Crankarm length is not important. They're for a product display, which I won't waste words explaining, but the point is that they won't be ridden. So although they need to look pretty good--no deep gouges or other major ugliness--they can be compromised in other ways. Rounded-off spindle tapers, stripped pedal or extractor threads? Those would not be a problem for my application
.
We're such a bunch of hoarders that I'm hoping there are lots of damaged orphan crankarms sitting in boxes out there, too damaged to used, but too nice-looking to throw away. Send 'em to me--I can give them meaningful work to do, and I have trade goods.

Jon, I have a DS mod. 93 arm in decent shape you can have. The problem is that it has a ring attached because several chainring bolts are stuck in their sockets. I’ve been trying to remove them for years, literally, but no luck so far. Would that work?

First off, I resemble that remark (I meant take offense) about hoarders!! Second off, be careful what you wish for.

I also have an unused ds arm in 170 14x125 in pretty good shape and can send a worn out 52 ring if wanted?
