Boone, NC road routes
On Tuesday the family is renting a cabin just south of Boone (Seven Devils?). Right off highway 105. I was going to take my MTB and ride at Rocky Knob but I'm worried it might be closed. I know it snowed this weekend and it's supposed to warm up and melt.
I was thinking about taking my road bike but I'm looking at the roads on google streetview and they all look dangerous. Narrow, little to no shoulder and a lot of traffic. Are there any good roads to ride not far from where I'll be?
