Tips on putting a rear rack or front basket on my newly acquired beater?

bought this disc brake converted old school mtb for a steal, but i'm having a hard time figuring how if possible to mount a rear rack since the disc brake tab has been added. What are my options for a rear rack or front basket?

I had a Specialized HardRock with disk brakes. Can't remember the brand, but someone does make a rear rack that will fit over disc brakes. My boy claimed the bike but I could find out what make/model that is.

just add a spacer and a longer bolt and any rack will spread wide enough to clear the disc caliper..

go to a Bike Shop and you can test fit a rack before you buy.

and level that saddle..

This front rack idea is interesting, and it would support a basket.

It looks like the rear disc brake mounting tab replaced the left rack eyelet, so the OP no longer has two lower eyelets in the same place.
@guitarmankyle, you could use a rack that mounts to the QR skewer, like the Axiom Streamliner.

https://www.amazon.com/Delta-Children.../dp/B004UMFAWW.

1 caveat: use 2-part epoxy to adhere it to the seat post, otherwise it can shift side to side,
and put it at the lowest place on the post.

Rubber lined stainless steel P clips will be your friends for fixing the rack to the bike frame.
