It is interesting how the shape, materials, and technology have changed the look of all things bicycle, but the basic mode of transportation itself is still tried and true to its origins. Ebikes are a different beast, and really represent a divergence from the standard machine we have come to know.

The lugged Bianchi is only 9 years old and the TIG'd Bianchi is new? Or those are both old bikes and were made 9 years apart?
Not really sure whats being claimed since there are no words.

The lugged Bianchi looks like its from the 80s, which would mean the TIG'd Bianchi is from the early 90s and that formed downtube isnt very '90s' looking.

Is there much of a noticeable difference in stiffness at the bottom bracket?

I have less FD rub on the newer, Ti. The other thing noticeable but not intended, check out the little ring/big ring.

Entire TdF-winning bikes superimposed atop each other would be interesting. I could imagine many things stay very similar (crank, seat, handlebar position) while the frame geometry (stem, top tube, lever position) moves around all over the place.
