Picked up a cruiser

been looking for a beach cruiser for the wife. She is not a fan of gears or handle brakes. I narrowed my search down to a schwinn world womens or a firmstrong urban ladies. Chose the firmstrong because the schwinn world, while a cool bike was a 7 speed while the firmstrong was a single gear coaster brake.talked the guy down to $30. the bike rides nice, crank a tad loose and I have to true rear rim.
About to clean her up

The WIDEST handlebars I have ever seen on a bike lmao.

$30.00? Looks like a winner!

Those are some wide bars. Ought to have enough leverage to steer a ship.

Wife's reaction when she saw handlebars was "OMG those bars are ridiculous. After a nice cruise she loves it, most comfortable bike she's ridden. Thinking to get some fenders but I do like the fender less look also. Does the brand Firmstrong have anything to do with livestrong? Lance Armstrongs foundation? I hope not bc I definitely don't support him!

Congrats on your nice (new to you) addition. What's the chain and rear tooth count on the cogs?

Only get fenders if she wants them or it soon becomes your bike not hers and she will not ride it. Fenders are added weight unless you have lots of rain. Only fix or improve things SHE wants. It is her bike not yours. Roger

Lmao she's getting fenders whether she wants them or not. On a serious note I figured out why the rear wheel want straight, missing 1 spoke.
