Bianchi Formula Mid to Late 80's

You can go in and remove photos like the cat mug by clicking on Edit then click on a photo you want to remove and hit Delete on the keyboard for each one. When done click the Save button.

The pink frame is made of Bianchi Columbus Formula Two Tubing which dates from the mid 80's to 1988.

The pink frame, it should have some numbers on the bottom of the BB shell like on my 1988 Giro. The serial number is on the left and I . 8 indicates 1988. Not sure what the "I" or "1" stands for - maybe 1st quarter of the month???

Can't help with the X-Cross bike,

Where is this? What model of brakes? What derailleurs? Hubs and rims? The decals make me think it is an '88 or '89 but more details are needed.

1988 Bianchi Giro?

Bianchi frequently used the same frames with different components and gave them separate model names, especially in different market like Europe, the US and Canada.

The serial number on my 1988 Giro.

1988ish Campione D'Italia, probably a Canadian market bike. The serial number and year stamped in the BB are in the same format as my Giro and your bike.

The 1987-88 Giro came in pink/purple and Celeste and had a Campagnolo Victory gruppo. Your bike was probably 1 tier down on the model/price level, maybe made for another market than the US? Maybe it'sa "Bastardo"...

1988 Catalog

Not sure whether this is a US or Canadian catalog but it mentions a mix of Modolo / Ofmega / ITM / Stronglight components on several models. So what I posted above about Bianchi playing loose with catalog specs certainly applies here. Close but no cigar.

@Bianchigirll Just for you...

I am in Victoria BC ( canada ) The brakes are Modolo Mach 1s ( really ugly grey colour ) no hubs or rims and no derailleurs ..... but really who knows what has been changed or not ,I have a soft spot for steel bikes that are being neglected and both my Bianchis were bound for the dumpster when I picked them up.

On the rose coloured Bianchi, Formula Two tubing in conjunction with the logo style, is indicative of a 1988 model and is corroborated by the serial number. Stronglight cranksets are typical of Canadian market, mid-range models of this era. While it's been frankenbiked, my leading candidate would be a Canadian market, 1988 Bianchi Campione d'Italia.

FWIW that is the '88 catalog and the color is Italian Red, not very rosey or violet looking. The '87 Giro wich had a SL/SP frame and was ranked above the Super Leggera that year was fitted with Dura Ace and only came in Celeste

Thanks Bianchi girl for you info/input I am learning Tons from You , T-mar and Verktyg ... The frame is definately pink even rose is a real stretch ... the Dura ace is interesting as there was a bag with a Dura ace derailleurs taped to the frame . I have to admit this is part of the appeal with vintage bikes not only are they great to ride but they all have their quirks and individual stories / mysteries . I was originally going to repaint it celeste to match my other Bianchi ( but the pink is growing on me). and ideas on my crossbike?

again I really appreciate the help from all of you .

I have a similar frame with modolo brake calipers ,itm stem , ofmega headset, gipiemme rear drops, stronglite crankset, and ambrosio high pressure rims.
Seatpost and steering stem are stuck

I am wondering which stickers would be appropriate after it's repainted in a matching color
