I have some rides that I do on my plus bike that gain 3k feet. These rides take less than 3 hours and I could easily do them 3 times per week along with a road ride. Those would be 450k per year and I'm a fat old man. Throw in a few road rides and it could be over 500k.

Then I remembered that I could just do the same think with a t-bolt - ease the edges, stick the head in the track and then just fasten with a knurled nut on the other side of the stop block or whatever. Durrrr. Probably easier than trying to hold and grind a square nut. Just gotta find some that are the right size - I have some on hand, but they're too too big.
Thanks, folks!

Everything that breaks, I fix. Or attempt to fix. Sometimes even if I replace whatever it was, I still attempt to repair the original. Dont even get me started about the cars. In 20 years I've paid someone else to fix my vehicle once. I had just filled the tank in my old truck and the fuel pump in the tank quit working. I did have a crate engine installed in my Avalanche but that was due to disgust. It sucks up a lot of time.

That's a really nice yard.
We only have about 100 square feet of grass in our backyard. The pool and patio cover most of it. But, we have a ton of shrub beds, and that gets to be a lot of work to maintain, especially with the grasses and shrubs that spread through underground runners.

That was fast!
Now what are you going to sell to buy the top-of-the line? I hear the Kickr Core doesn't rock as well as the Kickr, especially with the special spongy feet....

Dad's yard was, as I said, 1 3/4 acres. It was at least a 2 1/2 hour job, walking behind the Jacobsen. And then I was supposed to get out the little Sears rotary mower to trim around the trees and shrubs, because the Jacobsen couldn't get any closer than about 10 inches from the trunk. And then, if there was any area where the grass clippings were heavy enough to lay on top of the cut grass, I was supposed to rake that up and put it in the compost. If string trimmers had been invented, he'd have wanted me to do that, too.
