In what respect? I need to reupholster the cushion but it seems fine otherwise. Is it the quick release setup on the back support that's of concern?

If you do want to reupholster the seat, you can save time and aggrivation by buying a new Volae seat mesh from Hostel Shoppe.

It's more or less set where the guy I bought it from had it. I'll end up dropping it back once I get more comfortable on it, likely. The cushion compresses quite a bit so it doesn't feel like I'm sliding out.

For those 'purists' that might pull their nose up at my choice, let me say this, I am 50 years old, weigh 200 lbs and have been using my Tornado for everyday commuting in and around the city as well as weekend day tours and the Tornado has more than met my expectations. As a newbie to recumbent triking, with limited funds, I'm totally HOOKED and best of all, I didn't break the bank to make the purchase, nor did I have to compromise on quality or features either.

This is my Vision R40 which came to me third-hand with the tiny little 16" front wheel. A limited selection of quality upgrade wheels started me on the path to reconfigure the Vision to take a 20" or larger front wheel.
After a good deal of research and trial and error, I decided to use a Volae 26" fork with disc brake mounts, Rans HR3Way handlebars and an adjustable stem from a donor bike to get the fit just about right. As with any of my bikes, there is a good deal of fine-tuning and a few more upgrades in the near future, but so far she suits me fine--at least until I can buy a Volae Sport or a Rans F5.
The next upgrade is a set of Velocity Thracians (I have them on hold right now and $250 will liberate them!)
