I was channeling the Wrath of Khan above. By the way, fresh off the Star Trek Experience near Fort Ticonderoga. Really. Google it. It's there. I got the Monty Python out of my system for a year or two (OK, maybe a week or two) while walking Hadrian's Wall -- alternately muttering "The Britons! Who are they?" and "What have the Romans ever done for us?" It's not clear why I'm not single. Though my lovely wife works with Special Ed kids and has the patience of Sisyphus so maybe it is a little clear.

The spring classics league is work. But you know how it goes, per Eddie -- the hardest races are the easiest ones to win, because there is plenty of opportunity for the lesser riders to be ground away and the best rider to move to the top. That's why I'm so lousy in the VeloLeague GTs. They're just too easy. Yeah, that's my story!!

OK then. See you all in the spring classics!
plenty of scorched earth and nada lotta pillaging/sacking/booty/spoils.

man, we need a gt straddling the dead of winter to negotiate that mid-september/late april chasm. somrthing peruvian, colombian or argentinian would suffice.

I feel a muse inspiring me.

BizarroBF league. Everyone create a second team off a second email address, must spend all 100 velobucks, and lowest score wins.

Tejay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd be good with picking teams based on the lowest points in each category. three 4-pointers for the unclassifieds, two eight-pointers in both the climbers and all-rounders categories,
the lowest pointed sprinter (6 points i think) and a 4-pointer for a wildcard. now that would be full of giggles and hand-wringing. 54 velobux..no more, no less. knock yourself out.
holy bleep. there's our cheap chicken challenge.

will hafta investigate. we could have a best of the best league, a best of the least (pointed) league and a "best of the (intentionally) worst" dfl league. intriguing...
could also set a random point total like tarantino's "crazy 88's" and add a fourth team/entry.
