I bought a small Bell brand saddle bag from Walmart on clearance. It fits two tubes, 2 levers, 2 CO2s, inflater, and a multitool. Barely. I don't have a picture of just it (why would I?).

Best bag hands down was the Pedro's Blowout Bag. No longer made. I should have bought ten.
Right now I'm using an X-LAB Mezzo. I don't understand some of the Rube Goldberg setups and bags that look like they come from Brooks Brothers. This thing is as simple as it gets.

Best is what's best for my needs. I have 3 ancient seat bags and 3 new ones. The new ones are all walmart bell seat bags. I carry the same thing in each one. New spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, three allen wrenches, and an old 35 mm container of quarters. Best part it cost like 10 dollars.

If you're interested in as minimal as possible, I like this one:

It fits what I need: 1 tube, small multi-tool, 2 CO2 cartriges and valve (I use a minimal one), tire levers, emergency butt cream, and nothing else. The way it attaches to the saddle means it doesn't swing like a pair of pendulous bollocks, unlike some bags I've seen.

Here's my peeve- the little tube boxes don't fit the bags. Yeah, you can take 'em out, but I use the box to keep the tube from getting beat up while it's waiting 6 months for a flat to happen.

They have a lifetime warranty. I contacted Pedro's to get a replacement and was told that they haven't been made in years.
There are a few NOS bags out there but all are yellow.

That thing looks cool but I'm worried that being a hard plastic case that things would rattle inside it, and I loathe any noises on a bike. I'd probably spray some rubber undercoating inside of it before use.

Also, Cyckit designed the unit around packing common tools, so in addition to designing into the bottom half a rectangular depression to hold a typical fold out multi-tool (specifically a Genuine Innovations unit), they also include a pair of their proprietary tire levers to fit snugly below it.
If you check out the Cyckit site, or YouTube, you'll find clear videos in how to pack the Aeroclam to avoid rattles.
I use the uniquely designed Ritchey CPR 9 multitool, which doesn't fit in the Cyckit scheme, so I sleeve it in a cut piece of innertube to insure against rattling. I don't use CO2 which was part of the Aeroclam design parameters, so I have a bit more space than some might; with CO2, it would be a tight squeeze and I probably wouldn't need sleeve.
I'd definitely suggest seeing how your kit fits before deciding to rubber coat it, because it's well designed and works silently, but also because it's a shallow space, and a standard 700x23 tube barely fits, so even an extra mil or two could compromise closing.

I have the ever-popular Topeak medium Aero Wedge (with straps!). I see a lot of these while out riding. They last forever. The medium holds a lot.

Or cut and use some Tyvek mailing envelope (Fedex, USPS priority, etc.) instead of dollars. It's super durable and also makes a great boot.
