Same goal, but updated mileage:

July 6 11.7 miles. 15.2 average
July 7 14.9 miles. 12.2 average
July 8 11.2 miles. 10.9 average
July 9 16.1 miles. 13.4 average
July 10 10.1 miles 13.9 average

I’m guessing the frequency of riding will start to slow, but trying to get into some type of shape for the “Tour de Donut” coming up in August. So, I guess my goal is to ride the 32 miler at the “Tour” and survive.

50 miles today

Z1Endurance< 1002:31 1%

Z2Moderate100 - 1322:07:11 63%
Z3Tempo132 - 148 1:07:08 33%
Z4Threshold148 - 164 3:50 2%

So at an average of 15.2 miles per hour, I still spent most of my time in Z2, and I think Z3 was mostly effort+heat as it hit 90+ for the last hour of the ride.

Had I started on time (chain problem, had to swap it out) and not had to ride in the heat and mid-day sun I would have probably done 66 miles.
