A couple of gravel videos
Played with my GoPro head mount this weekend while doing a ride up and down the mountain I live on.
Basically a 3 hour uphill grind from sea level to summit (1000m) on two gravel roads and then a nearly 1 hour descent on a 26" 1992 Marin rigid mtb.
The first part is a montage of snippets going from the summit to mid way pavement (7.2km) and the second is a mostly full run (2.5km) from pavement back down gravel to sea level.
Kinda boring but gravel

Wow you're so lucky to have that available to you. Where exactly is this?

Sumas Mountain in Abbotsford, BC - Canada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sumas_...itish_Columbia)
It's a great gravel cycling locale with the mountain and two dike systems on either side of about 40km's total. Lots of people drive up that FSR to the upper parking lot to downhill mtb too.

what tire size are you running on that? I am assuming chest mount, or was that helmet on the camera??

The garbage really did suck.
Never promised a "good" video
I just found my old GP head mount harness from years ago so I thought I'd give it a try. Usually I hand hold the cam on a monopod but of course, that's not so good down those roads.
Plan to try again after securing the mount better and cinching the helmet to reduce wobble. I hadn't explored it's use (head strap) because of only the run on 1st person perspective it offers. I prefer to try different angles to break up the action but the length of the downhill inspired me to try capturing it all in one go.

Thanks
The weather tricked me a bit because it as not bad down below but bitterly cold up top and my hands froze from riding the brakes even though I wore gloves.
I made a second sped up version of the second video with music
