Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What would you think...

of a bike with an aluminium frameset, direct-mount brakes, thru-axles, 32mm tires and T47 bottom bracket with internal sealed bearings?
And also a chainguard lol?

I'd think it should have a BSA BB.

I wouldnt think much of it either way. Bikes are so slightly different from brand to brand and model to model that if there is one with this spec, I wouldnt be surprised.
Well the chainguard, sure that would be surprising. But again- given what I see on here, people do all sorts of stuff to 'customize' their bike.

What should I think of your hypothetical? Let me know what response you want me to have and Ill agree to it.
