Damn.

Is the ban permanent? The guy was responsible for some of the funniest stuff on this board. It did seem like he was itching for a ban the last few days, though.

Mebbe he could start a blog??

Damn.

Can anyone take a guess how I might feel about people laughing about obesity?

Difference is you did something about it. Maybe these guys did too, and if they did more power to them.

I agree though, really. It's sad, could easily kill someone.

I understand how you could feel Tom, but really does it violate forum guidelines? He deserves to be banned because he posted one thing that may offend one person who happens to be a moderator?

He posted this earlier, and it really offended me. I think he should have been banned for this. Is that how it works? or only if I'm a moderator does it count?

Cypress was not banned for any single offence. Once you receive three infractions you receive a temporary ban. What he received his infractions for are between him and the moderators / administrators and will not be discussed in public. Once he returns feel free to pm him and ask what they were issued for.

OK, I said what I said to explain that people can be offended by laughing at this kind of thing. Do y'all want to give me a headache? P&R is more civil lately......I think I'll spend my time there.

Just think how offensive it is to hear, "Hey, good looking." or "Who sculpted those abs, Mr. Perfect?" or even worse "Turn down your masculine glow. Your blocking out the sun."

Yeah, I know. Seems tough to deal with. But I manage.
