Hi All, I stumbled across a nice condition 1983 Trek 520 in Gunmetal Blue yesterday. As much as I would like to ride this frame it is just a little too large for me (25.5"). I would be interested in a swap for something a few inches shorter, something in the neighborhood of 22"-23" seems to work for me. Doesn't have to be the exact same bike, just something of similar quality/weight.
Would also consider trade for some cranks/aluminum wheels I can use for my Motobecane. I can post pictures later when I get a chance but thought I would post in case someone is looking for something like this, a really nice riding and lightweight touring frame constructed from Reynolds 501 with manganese alloy fork and stays.

52.5cm 73 colnago super pantografata frameset
Hello I have a 73 colnago pantografata frameset with the chrome cast head lugs. I love this bike but unfortunately it’s too small for me. It’s 52.5cm. If anyone out there has a 70-73 colnago super between 56-58cm with original paint I’d like to find someone to trade with. Not looking to sell this. If I can’t find a trade I’ll build up for son. Would be open to trade for cinelli supercorsa, masi gran criterium but really would like a super same era in my size. Thx

I did disassemble the pedals, completely cleaned the internals, and repacked the grease in all of the bearings as they were really gummy. My original plan was to give it a deep clean and polish, then service the hubs and bottom bracket. One nice feature of this bike is the original owner upgraded it to barcons (lock nuts both still present!).
The more I think about it I would either rather frame swap and use these components or just exchange bikes. This might be best as I feel like it would be a shame to break this up as it appears to be original and untampered with. After riding this a bit my old Moto (74—75-ish Mirage) just can't compete with this except in the appropriate size department.

I could definitely make that work for me. I've been halfway looking for one after restoring a Grand Sprint last year. I have a 62 Grand Touring frame that's just to big. I could pickup in SF. My son lives up there.

For me, seat tube angle is an important part of essential bike fit - saddle height plus saddle setback, and saddle setback plus TT length gives me reach. STL plus saddle setback gives me an estimate of stack, in turn.

I added a new entry to the spreadsheet. I have a frame which is too small for me (built up into a bike for my wife but she didn't like it). I'm looking for something roady-ish, 61-62cm seat tube, probably 57-59cm top tube, 126mm rear spacing preferred.
This frame is an oddball:
It will come with a seatpost (ASPI - Spanish) and headset (Tange Levin CD). For a few bux more, I can provide Campy french bottom bracket cups (not a complete bottom bracket though).
Its current status:
