What Dura Ace 7400 Aero Seatpost is this?

Hello all,

I was wondering what model or version would this seatpost be?

DSCN8720.jpg

This one doesn't have any etching on it.

Also if there's a Shimano pdf that gives all the parts of these seatposts, complete with a diagram, that would be sweet if you could post that up too.

Thanks for any and all replies and they are most appreciated.

If it is a Dura Ace, it will say so. Was the engraving ground off, or never there? I think Nitto made those for Shimano.

No there was never any engraving on it. I've seen these before, I just don't know the exact model number of it.

If it were a Dura Ace, it would say. If it was the (mostly) identical Nitto, it wouldn't say Dura Ace. You likely have the Nitto. NTTAWWT

I'm not buying that this is a Nitto. This has Shimano engraved on it;

Nitto wouldn't do that, right? I'm kinda thinking this is a SP-7310

i've two versions of this seat post; one that says shimano 600 tricolor, the other shimano ultegra. the scalloping edges seem to change between models. perhaps that would be your clue?

I was able to conclude that this one is a SP-6400-B. That was concluded by the weight of it. It was reported here that it was 284g. I weighed mine at 286g. The other ones I was thinking it was was 224g.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Looks like it's been polished. Maybe VeloBase.com - Component: Shimano SP-7310, Dura-Ace AX (B-type)
