Addiction LXXVII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Inquiring minds want to know - what's special about the Norwegian stuff? Is this like fancy natural sharpening stones?

Got hit and rund from behind on the way home. I am incredibly fortunate not to be on my way to the OR or the morgue. Helmet busted.

Good Samaritan saw and stopped, but no make on the tag. Fortunately wife was home.

Oof - glad to hear you're okay-ish.

Do we need to get you one of those upside-down "how's my bike?" shirts?

I would say write all the details down that you can recall, especially if there is no video evidence.

When I used to surf I got bumped by shark once. After that I always wondered if shark repellent actually worked.

If only there was car repellent....

Wow, sorry to hear it. I think that's on the top of all of our biggest fears while cycling. Glad you are alive and talking/typing. Hoping for the best. I understand the need to keep discreet at this point.
