A picture of my big old Puma Nevis (Biomega) crank forward bike. It's an Shimano Nexus 8 speed IGH conversion. It originally had a derailleur and 8 speeds, and now just has a chain tensioner. Pretty trouble free,...except for the 1 flat I recently had (old innertube).

Hi guys, first post here
Thought I'd share my find. I found this Indy frame a few years ago at a local repair shop lying in a corner among some scrap parts ready to be thrown away. Paid 15€ for it. Thought I'd start another project, although I have more than enough unfinished projects already
As I later found out, the frame had two cracks - one big one, going around the welding line where the seat tube meets the BB, and the other smaller one on the chainstay right next to the first one. I got it fixed, but then I shifted to my other projects and this one was left to wait for its turn. And it is still waiting But I thought I'll share it with you guys and in that way I might eventually get my lazy ass to finally finish the build for next summer

Those cantilever frames frames with the straight top tubes are super rare. Super rare. What are your plans for that bike?

Nirve Beach 7. Changed some parts to make it lighter, almost 6 lbs lighter than stock. next some drivetrain mods to make climbing moderate hills easier. Need to clean up the cables after changing the handlebars to riser style MTB.

Here's my old klunker.
Its so rusty, I had to clear coat it to keep metal from flaking off. Real safe.
Unknown frame with Schwinn forks and cranks. Generic wheels. SR BMX neck

Bildabike and 3G

Cruising down the beach today I came across this fort someone built. The 3G is the cruiser I plucked from a junk pile and found this site to learn how to fix it. Many thanks for the instructions and tips. Both hubs, headset, and bb are rebuilt. All the rattle parts removed thanks to SP. This cruiser rolls thru many beach miles and rarely complains.

Thanks, Jimmie. The Bildabike was my first cruiser. I enjoy having the 3G with more classic cruiser geometry to mix things up.

Maxxis tires never fail to accent bikes perfectly. They almost got me more than the Thickslick logo does but not quite.

What type of clear coat you use? I might do the same on my bike to keep it in good shape lol

Love bikes like this that are like a functional time capsule!

standard issue Krylon rattle can from my local hardware store. took about 4 coats but one can did the job. I think I used gloss buy flat would have been fine too for this. Depends on how shiney you want it.

That bike is crying inside. It's very very sad. It wants you to take those damn reflectors of it's wheels so it can look like a real Klunker.

yes, I choose the Nirve cruiser for its frame design. Sort of looks likes a modernized Schwinn DX style prewar cruiser. Looking to build a cruiser that has an older look but with newer parts. Was really hoping to find a second hand Gary Fisher Klunker or Breezer Ignaz X, but no such luck. Both bikes were made 20 years ago and probably not in great numbers, and for whatever reason don't seem to come for sale all that often.
