New to my son, possibly a Schwinn Tempo.
this bike was 30.00 at the co-op. it has tenax tubing, 105 components and biopace chainrings. all which look to be original. the frame is real straight but looks like it is blue under the red. i am guessing the repaint may have covered the original tempo lettering. anybody with any insight would be much appreciated. btw, the wheels are true but dont match and it has room for 28's and possibly fenders.

Don't know what it is, but, if it fits, it was a good find for $30.

Nice find. Looks good already and as you say, doesn't need much. I always tell my son that I'm getting the most enjoyment from any bike I pass to him, because I got all the satisfaction of making it nice again by taking it apart, clean/lube and reassembly. Don

I sold these new back in the day. They're really great, and you got a hell of a deal. Congrats.
