Cyclops Road Bike...
This Cyclops came into Bicycles for Humanity a short while ago. Though i am not an active member any more, I do help out with selling nice bikes or lots of vintage bicycles for B4H. This Cyclops is one of those bikes.
The bike is alloy and in OK shape and would make a good winter project for someone. Have a look at the pictures and ask what you will. I cannot run down to look at the bike as it is in the city (100 mile round trip to get there and back again). The seat tube, c-c, measures at 53cm and the top tube 54cm...
NO LONGER FOR SALE - NOT A REAL CYCLOPS

That price is a stellar deal for someone wanting a Cyclops! Not my size or it'd be mine.
Ps a review of Kijiji shows people seeking a Cyclops and prepared to pay more so anyone hungry should move

Been thinking of buying the Cyclops myself but I really do not need any more bicycles. Sadly, or not, that has never stopped me before and payday is only two days away. Oh my!-( What to do? Guess my Marinoni could use a buddy...

Randy-
Is that not a re-sprayed alloy framed Cannondale? I tried to read the top tube art but I think it will read " Painted by......." I don't think Mike ever worked in welded aluminum

The binder bolt location looks similar to the one on my B.L., what is different?

I was a bit surprised when I saw aluminum but I am not an expert on anything anymore (learned too much in my seventy plus years to know that I know little). But the concern is well justified in my area.
One of the local bike shops, the oldest one in the city of Thunder Bay, got their hands on some Cyclops decals. I have already seen one repainted bike sporting Cyclops decals and came, as Maxwell Smart would say, "this close" to buying it for $125.00 CND...
But, upon noticing the drop eyelets, I started to wonder. Looking closer, the bike turned out to be a repainted Apollo Club Sport or something very close to that name.
So, I need to get a better look at the bike. Until I am sure of its make, it is not for sale. More to come unless this thread gets deleted.
NOW YOU KNOW WHY I DO NOT LIKE TO PAINT BIKES! Buyer Beware!

I would agree that it is definitely a Cannondale "painted by Cyclops" You can tell by the sticker on the Top Tube, I am almost positive I can make out "painted by" the last line shows Toronto Ontario.™
this was not uncommon. I have seen 3 Cannondale Cyclops and own one of them.
It was fashionable to do, an Cyclops painted bikes for a reasonable price. There are hundreds of painted by Cyclops floating around.

The sticker on the top tube tells the whole story! "Painted by" on my Cannondale Cyclops.
VS a real, true custom made Cyclops: "custom built by" for the original buyer of the bike, in this case, A Osborne.

Thanks for that piece of Cyclops and notCyclops history. Now I do not feel so bad about almost goofing twice! Needless to say, I am no longer interested in this notCyclops and sorry to have provided false information.
