Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR's
Okay, so I think I have read enough about these and am ready to pull the trigger. I know they have been on Bonktown, but I can't sit around all day hoping they show up again. Since you all seem to know where the great deals are, I am soliciting your help. PLEASE help me find a great deal on these wheels!!!!!

i'd amazon
i'd google shopping
i'd ebay
i'd procyclist.com
then i'd compare to whatever they were going for on competitivecyclist.com and see how good a deal i got.
side note i'm pretty sure that competitive cyclist is a comedy site. their prices are insane.

just got them off BT because it was the lowest price i could find. Second lowest was somewhere around 1200 and man I searched high and low for those things. If you make an account with Bonktown and get the daily email you can at least find out what day they'll be on. Also ask in the forum section to get hints. The waiting is a pain though, lol.

There is an entire thread devoted to these wheels. Search next time. FWIW, mine have been great in the 2 weeks I've been on them.

Just hope and pray you never need warranty support. Mavic is the worst in that department!

I just gotten the SL. Its lovely, fast and rolls forever. Brings up my speed for 2km/h or so comparing to my 30mm wheels. Downside? Weight! but when riding, i don't feel it. Infact i feel faster compared to my 30mm(1.49kg wheel)
