FS:Ciöcc frame set, 54cm
SOLD thanks Rizaa!! PRICE DROP! Looking for $250 200, but I am open to offers. Best guess is mid to late 80's vintage. No TSD guy on the brake bridge, so after their turn with Ciöcc maybe? 54 cm (as marked) Ciöcc. No tubing sticker, bit it takes a 26.8 seatpost, so everyone assumes Allele tubing. Paint has various scratches consistant with a bike that has been ridden. I used this one for the Heroic route on last year's Eroica CA. Nice blue to white fade paint, in vg condition. Includes a specialized headset, Shimano BB, and some Japanese seatpost. If you want any more pictures, let me know.
I love the blue white fade. The sky blue has a very nice metallic gleam to it
Club cut out in BB, SN 91218, 54 marked.
Damaged head tube sticker, a little paint scraped off in the area too.
Unbranded dropouts, but they look to be of good quality, new campy adjusters.
Ciöcc pantograph in sloping fork crown.
Seat cluster, Ciöcc pantograph in seat stay caps.

Nice frame! I realize this is marked as a 54, but is that measured C-to-C or C-to-T? Thanks! Chris

Thanks for looking! I am a touch taller than you, but have short legs and longer torso. My inseam is over an inch shorter. I have tried a 54 thinking it would work, but in reality, better for me to stick with a 52-51, like my Mercian at 51. My first real ride was a Ciocc I bought in 1990. A 52cm cherry red Ciocc. I loved it!

I also have the more period correct white brake hoods (two sets), and short cage and medium cage rear mechs. Oh yeah and some random 80's campy pedals with clips. (this was my 2019 Eroica CA bike)

Wow. Like the look of that bike once built up. I have now accumulated a complete set of Shimano 6400 and Suntour Sprint to go with unless I score a campy groupset for a good price.

Just to add some more half-remembered details about this model Ciocc: there were a fairly large number sold in US with exactly this same "fade" paint, graphics and chrome fork. But since they don't have a tubing decal it is a source for some speculation as to what tubing they are built with. IIRC they do not have a 26.8 seatpost so that rules out Aelle, but I think I remember some wiser members (maybe it was T-Mar) concluding these were probably Columbus Chromor (which has same seat tube dims as SL and so takes a 27.2 seatpost).

Seat post is 26.8, so I "think" this is Aelle. not a tubing sticker in sight! I did try a 27.0 post, and it was a NO-GO for sure.

At 56cm, I would be mighty tempted. Nice steed, however...!
