I hear they're making Zimmers now with titanium frames and sealed bearing wheels. No doubt the fellow on the left is an Olympic competitor. The shabby vestments are just there to make others underestimate him. Gamesmanship.

I get to ride in Valley Forge National Park when I like. One lovely stretch is Inner Defence Line Road, thought the hilly woods on the west end of the park. A couple of years ago I was dismayed to find that on those hills I could NOT outrun the gnats and mosquitos. They would swarm around my head until I crested and headed down hill again. Humbling, dare I say. Fortunately, now that I'm a bit older, I'm better than that.
