$175 Mongoose IBOC Pro SX, inexplicably called a triathalon bike. mix of carbon and high end steel, I think. Believe it was mostly Deore LX.

After giving them an offer, I'd be all over that one - if in a 63cm size that is. Anything like that for around that type of money is a given.

I'M IN LOVE!
If I hadn't just spent $750 to get my truck out of the Ford garage, I'd be hollering for a facilitator. Nice!

Not My Bike - Too Distant For Me To Facilitate

Fuji Bike - $30 (Richmond)

Posted 2020-03-06 09:24

"I am cleaning my garage and selling my late husband bike. It’s a Giant. My hubby rode bike on Belle Isle area and he was an occasional rider. Only $30 come and get it this weekend. Bike pump is here as well.

bicycle frame material: aluminum

bicycle type: road
frame size: Medium
make / manufacturer: Giant
model name / number: Defy
wheel size: 700C"

https://richmond.craigslist.org/bik/...088269399.html

(The title could qualify it as "Wacky..." and it's not CV, but it is $30 and I'd buy it for that were it close to me.)

Oh man that Centurion semi-pro---- looks to be largely original with all the black components. Not a bike you see often, or at least I don't. If it was closer (as in not 3000 miles away)....

if that one was a little bigger, I’d be looking for a facilitator. That’s a great bike for a bargain price.

56 cm Cannondale - $40 (Richmond)

bicycle frame material: aluminum
bicycle type: road
condition: fair
frame size: 56 cm
make / manufacturer: Cannondale
wheel size: 700C
In fair condition, will need tires soon, minor scuff on the shifter, no other scuffs on the bike, I am no longer commuting. It was great, very fast but I just have ended up needing my truck at work more often than anticipated. I want $40 or best cash offer no checks.

This one looks interesting. The wheelbase and chainstay length make it look like a touring bike but it also looks like it might have 650 wheels on it. Shifter specs are wrong, too.

A bargain for the Bay Area: Motobecane 54cm Grand Jubile for $150, probably won't last long:
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...088742311.html

what I can glean from the ad pix: Vitus tubing decal and fork, Wrights leather saddle, Phillipe stem, Cyclone RD, maybe FD and SunTour shifters, Nervar Star crankset. Ad says "27 inch" wheels but might be 700C, possibly sew-ups.

Don't see enough 531/high-end steel mixtes for sale, but I imagine someone might want this, even at $350

86', steel 531 main tubes. That front shifter has a notched plastic retainer that is probably broken. The tri color is an update, but everything else looks stock.
