Share Your "Barn Finds"
Last week a neighbor of mine invited my wife and I to explore his property. We were out walking our dogs and taking pictures of the countryside when we ran into him and his wife. We chatted for a little bit and he noticed I had my camera. He mentioned that his property had a lot of old buildings/barns and all kinds of neat things to photograph and that we were welcome to explore. So, we took him up on the offer.
First up, the pasture we walked across to get to the barn.
Once we got up on the hill, we saw our first of the many barns and out buildings.
Military style dump truck out front.
Bull Dozer on the size of the barn.
And a great big opening in the barn. I wonder what's in there...
What you are looking at is a rare 1970/71 Schwinn Cotton Picker. Mostly complete with only the front wheel missing. It looks rough but I've seen much worse. What a cool find!
And that got me thinking. Has anyone else got a cool barn find to share? If you do, post it here and let's hear the story.

Guess I now can post here - just swung a deal for this 1972 (or so) Batavus Tour de l'Europe. My dad said it's clearly been in the barn for a very long time.
