Another cold (just barely freezing) hard fast heart pounding... but short 20 minute ride. Better gloves kept my fingers warmer... but still not warm. Next weeks predicted high 40's should seem like a heat wave.

Dave,
Which gloves are you suing for the cold weather? I'm looking at getting something just a bit warmer.

20 miles with my wife. We found this nice MUP, only too short.

Birthday ride today. 54.5 miles in perfect 69F temperatures. Now if only we could have done something about the wind.

After my wife's family left from the Thanksgiving lunch I kitted up and rode 15.13 miles, 49°F, a slight NW breeze and a blue bowl sky. The riding and the weather were both very nice. Fantastic day and I have so much to be thankful for.

Haven't had a ride since Monday. Was hoping to get one in after turkey time, but the company left rather late. I'll be out in the morning while the wife recovers from her all night, Black Friday shopping with my daughter.

Thankful that I was able to get out for an 11-mile TG Day ride. One of the colder TG's of recent years (high 37F) but sunny.

21.9 miles, 2700+ feet of elevation gain on a gorgeous late fall day. This is the Fremont Peak climb just south of San Juan Bautista. Having done this for the first time on a single I can't believe my wife and I got up this hill on our tandem. Of the climbs in our area the road to the top is in the best shape by far; the upper part of the descent is tricky if you don't know it well: sand, switchbacks, etc.

After a night of little sleep and a failed attempt to sleep in late, my buddy and I managed a nice and windy 44 mile ride today. It'll be an early bedtime tonight.

Took a nice mid-afternoon ride, 15 miles under a blue bowl sky, 59°F, slight NW wind, a beautiful day to be out. We cut our Family Christmas tree this morning. A fantastic day.

81.5 miles with 4000+ ft of climbing. A lot of the climbing started at 65 miles. What was I thinking??? Very slow at 15.5 mph but gorgeous day to ride. Temps in 20s/30s/40s with reasonable winds for this time of year. I've ridden the climb lots but it was 1-2 gears harder with the cooler temps and all the extra clothing.

Had a nice chilly start on my ride this morning but it warmed up quite quickly. The MUP was really crowded this morning with people having to park on the sides of the service road. Lots of families with small kids on bikes, so speed had to be cut down. Overall, a very nice 35 mile ride this morning.
