Lube on crack?
I found a lubrication product on a bike web store site that really caught my eye:
CeramicSpeed UFO Drip Chain lube
$75.00 USD
No mention of # of fluid ounces. Looks like 4-6 oz from the photo, but who knows? Sorry, no link...Google it if you must.
Does a product for lubricating bicycles at that price point point to charlatan snake oil ? Or is this the messiah oil we've all been waiting for?

They claim 4.5 - 9 Watts but by their own testing that's not true.
I believe it is supposed to work like a wax but you can apply it like any normal lube which means you don't need all the rigmarole that waxing chains normally involves.
There's a graph (supplied by ceramic speed mind you) on this page https://cyclingtips.com/2018/03/fast...ves-you-money/ which shows UFO drip to have the least drag but it's only 1 or 2 watts over it's nearest competitors.
One of the interesting points raised in that article is how chain lube will affect chain life. It may be more cost efficient to use a high priced lube if it extends the life of your chain and cassette.

Interocitor Command
I think the OP probably meant to type "lube on steroids" but maybe not.

They should offer the first one to be free, but that could be a slippery slope if it does work as advertised.

$75USD for 6oz?
At that price instead of oil and solvent there's better be unicorn blood or kitten tears as well.

When you run a $150 chain through a $600 derailleur cage you use $75 lubricant. It's what you do.
Cable TV costs more than $75/month. Some spend that much each month on coffee. No one bats an eyelash at the cost of Netflix or craft beers. I know a guy who put a $1200 grille on his truck when it had a perfectly good grille to begin with.
I don't see the big deal. If someone wants to use it then it is their business. I just hope that whomever does is also giving to charity a commensurate amount.

Ah Denmark company. Only have to sell one $1000 pulley wheel and they can go home for weekend. Sounds like genius to me.
