Skating on thin ice !

Well what happen when you get two days of temps near 60 degrees? Lots of areas with thinning ice and some very wet trails to go play on. Made for a fun filled three hours after work.

It is so cool out here when the big slabs of ice are breaking up, just have to know the terrain. The false ice (no support under it) can be tricky if you don't know the terrain and some sections can drop several feet. The studs really make for a fun ride on the ice, and I just got studded tires for my 29 plus bike so it can play on it.

It has been such a blast out here this winter, but do wish we had more snow. Thank goodness for studded tires, and still have plenty of ice out here to play on.
