Put up the trek 500 tri series frame I got yesterday. I'd rather not have to deal with getting it painted, etc., but for someone else, it'll be a great project. It's 23" trek size (seat tube).
I'm looking for a 21"-24" lugged steel mountain bike or frame.

well I will get in on this game. I have a 1972-73 Peugeot pl-8 that is a tad too big for me (I like to think I'm 5'6" but it is more like 5'3") 57 cm frame.... altenburger synchron brakes (eek!) but it does have the rigida serrated chrome steel rims. a few of the decals need work, no dents, and the paint is in good shape. I have all the original parts including the lights, generator, and the seat (has seen better times) Just looking for something classic (it doesn't even have to be French!) in the 48-52 cm range. 
. Almost forgot it is French threaded and I haven't been able to budge the cotter pins to save my life.

I have this repainted (Dr. Deltron) 1984 Trek 760 frame that I would be happy to see go somewhere it would get more use. It's 54cm ctc in the seat tube, 53cm ctc in the top tube. Lugged 531P Reynolds tubing. The paint is rich purple and in outstanding condition, fork ends are chrome. The frame was pretty much a top-of-the-line crit geometry frame when it was made. My Bob Jackson, and Raleigh Team Pro make this effectively redundant in my stable. Would be willing to include the current (I believe original) Stronglight, A-9 needle bearing headset for the right exchange.
I'd be looking for something with at least butted tubing, in 55 - 58 cm size range. Would prefer sport touring, or touring geometry. Willing to consider older frame that's sound, and not in great finish, so don't be shy about proposing a trade.

I suggest four grades of frame:
A = full / butted molybdenum-alloy steel --don't bother saying whether 531, Columbus, Tange, or what.
B = partial / straight gauge molybdenum-alloy steel -- again, don't bother with the details.
C = hi tensile steel.
D = anything other than steel.
I suggest three grades of paint:
A = excellent and original
B = okay (does not need repaint)
C = terrible (needs repaint)
If you're getting rid of a frame that requires unusual parts, non-English BB and headset, unusual sized FD or whatever, I suggest you include it if you can.
Other information required: dropouts, eyelets, other brazed on fittings. Damage should be clearly stated.

I uploaded some pictures. The bike is a blue Grand Record. It is 57cm c-c and c-t, it has a stronglight headset, no dents in the frame and the fork is straight. I cannot find a name on the BB but it is most likely a stronglight also. I do not have enough posts to send you a private message. alpha red you maybe interested in my peugeot? really need to get up to 50 posts so I can pm on here. I also have a schwinn super le tour 12.2 and all the parts to rebuild it except it does have a top tube dent and its about 70 percent stripped down paint wise.

I just added my 60 cm Austro-Daimler Olympian (Full 531 DB throughout) frameset to the spreadsheet. It has no derailleur cable tunnels or chainstay cable stops and only a tab for downtube mounted shifters or cable stops. There are full cable housing tunnels along the top side of the top tube, though. Frame Spacing is 130 mm, already! Headbadge is there, but paint and Reynolds decals are really rough- needs a repaint! I'd like to trade it for a comparably made road or touring frame in 56 or 57 cm size; Horizontal forged dropouts with eyelets are a must!
I have an unknown french frame (I think it is a Lejune) it is 57. I believe it to be reynolds 531. It is a 56/57. Here is a pic.

My friend has one in nearly mint condition and I'd love to see more pics of one in the flesh.
I'm afraid she'd be very unwilling to give hers up for anything...especially a 24.5".
