Any BMC GF02 owners out there?
This bike caught my eye today and was wondering if anyone has one or has take one for a spin. Anyone have any experience on one? I think it might suite me and my riding style well.

I think that the disc version looks pretty interesting, but no - don't own either.

I have one, bought it used from someone who didn't like it. It's very upright and seems to be very comfortable on poor NY roads. Longest I have gone are 40 - 50 mile rides. I did remove the Arione saddle. I am old fat and slow though, and have/had a slush fund to spend on something I wanted.

I havent rode the GF02, but test rode a GF01 a few months back when I was bike shopping.
It was a pretty comfortable ride, not as push as a specialized roubaix. I felt it accelerated slow, but that probably was mostly due to the 28C tires, and all the other bikes I rode that day probably had 23's. The geometry wasn't a good fit for me, but it was a nice bike. I thought an endurance road bike would be a good fit for me, but it turned out the SLR01 was a better fit for me.

I am slow on anything I ride. It is lighter than my old carbon Giant TCR. It feels less twitchier than the Giant. I bought it because (a) I am a gearhead and loved the tech look, (b) no one has one and (c) I believed the hype. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have the GF01 and like it tremendously. it's a smooth comfortable ride, tracks well on descents and is very stiff under acceleration or climbs. It was my n+1 from a Specialized Roubaix. I find the GF stiffer and faster than the Roubaix, maybe a toss up on comfort. (Strava says I'm faster over the same segments so...therefore I must be faster). It's a tool, not a jewel. The industrial look grows on you after while.

Looks like a great bike. I also have the SR02, and like it quite a lot. I love the way BMCs look, so that doesn't hurt either

Thanks Johnny. One more question...what kind of BB does it have?

Why would anyone looking for an endurance geometry bike buy something other than a Domane or a Roubaix?
Or if you really want to be different, then why not get a custom bike? Everyone else is just chasing their tails.

A brand new black on black on black GF02 with Di2 showed up at last night's hill ride. Pretty cool looking machine. (I ride an SL01, so I'm biased.) The rider is new to the group as well so I haven't had much of a chance to ask her opinion.
