Ergon GP2 grips with cut original grips?
Hey all
I ordered a set of Ergon GP2 grips for my Escape 3 that were in a 50% off sale. Great deal, or so I thought but then the site I ordered them from listed the wrong model and I got the version for twist shifters instead, which are about an inch shorter. Rather than send them back I was thinking of removing the original grips except for an inch or so and combining them that way. Has anyone done that before? Any pics to share?
Cheers.

Send them back, and get the right ones!
I have both Ergon, and Specialized. I like the Specialized better, as they are a tad softer, and more comfortable, plus the clamp is on the inside, not where your hand is at. They still give plenty of support, and come in colors.
