Believe it or not, it was short sleeves weather, at least in the sun. These were from May. If you sat in the snow it'd be frigid, but away from it is pretty comfortable.

By the way those are from route 20, near Washington Pass. A lot of the road is stunningly beautiful, and it's a ride with traveling for. Winthrop nearby is a great place to stay, with hotels and restaurants, you can rent a road bike there, and ride a century where you can drop your camera and get a great picture out of it.
