Adult quadracycles exist, but they're big, heavy, and comparatively slow.

Got one of those for my son and daughters when they were little. They put a lot of miles on it, he needs to move the seat back.

yes! The enclosed trike is sleek and pretty fast. Have watched some you tube videos and they look like would be an adventure to drive/ride.
They are expensive to buy.

Cycleway town
This is a thing in Europe. In fact, adults have been using pedal cars on the roads, in dedicated lanes, for decades.
They've seen the e-assist boom like bicycles have.
Berg are a well-known manufacturer, for both kid's and adult's karts.
I fancy building a full-suspension cargo version for use on the superb Redway system in my town (fully comprehensive MUP system).

I posted previously:
Does your spouse ride with you?
Not since about 1990.
Since our children came starting in 1988, I can recall one long ride pulling our two-year-old son in a trailer, and one short fun ride in on a quadricycle on Toronto’s Harbour Islands in 2014

Velomobiles are mostly 3 wheeled, but the Quatrovelo is 4 wheeled, and it is quite nice, but also spendy (~$13k or so).
My velo cost a bit over $12k new, back in 2014 (I bought it used for much less a few months ago).
